Supporting EMS, health, and safety in the North Fork Valley
The North Fork Ambulance Auxiliary (NFAA), founded on July 1, 2019, carries forward over 50 years of commitment from the original North Fork Ambulance (1969–2019), which has long served our communities with rapid, reliable emergency response.
Our mission is to sustainably enhance the quality of life by financially supporting emergency medical services, health, and safety initiatives throughout the North Fork Valley .
What we do:
- Financial Aid for residents of the North Fork valley: Offering assistance for ambulance bills to seniors, the uninsured, and underinsured individuals , up to $500 per incident.
- Health & Safety Programs:Â Funding injury-prevention classes for all ages, the Community Paramedicine Program, and various local health and safety initiatives.
- EMS Education & Training: Providing grants to support ongoing EMS education and training for North Fork personnel .

com. - Volunteer or Attend: The NFAA board meets at North Fork EMS headquarters every even‑month on the 3rd Wednesday at 10 AM—meetings are open to all.
