awarded the EMSAC ALS Provider of the Year.

This prestigious statewide award is presented annually to one Colorado
paramedic who demonstrates exceptional contributions to the advancement
of emergency medical care.

Why Tanya stands out

  • Joined North Fork EMS in 2011 and has played a central role in transforming the agency.
  • Holds advanced certifications including NRP, FP-C, CP-C, and PECC.
  • Secured a $100,000 Firearm Safety Initiative grant to improve community safety and education.
  • Developed comprehensive training and quality improvement programs that strengthened clinical performance across the district.
  • Led the creation of Community Paramedicine and Mobile Integrated Healthcare initiatives to expand patient access and improve outcomes.
  • A respected advocate for pediatric emergency care enhancements.
